A personalised appointment

Radiofrequency energy heats deeper skin layers in a controlled way. A handpiece is moved across the chosen area using settings selected by your clinician. The clinician explains the procedure, monitors skin response and considers your comfort throughout.

Your treatment, explained

Radiofrequency and the skin

Radiofrequency delivers controlled heat to deeper skin layers with the aim of supporting collagen-related firmness and texture. It is non-surgical and has limits: it is not equivalent to a surgical lift, and the response develops differently for each person.

Areas and goals

Suitability depends on skin condition, the degree of laxity and the treatment device. These areas can be discussed at your assessment.

  • Face and neck
  • Arms and hands
  • Abdomen
  • Legs and thighs
  • Back and buttocks
  • Fine lines, firmness and skin texture

Treatment and follow-up

The clinician reviews your goals, prepares and cleans the skin, treats the agreed area and monitors temperature and comfort. Usual activities may resume if advised; several sessions may be recommended. Redness, swelling, pain, bruising, burns, pigmentation changes and rarely infection are possible. Discuss aftercare and previous procedures before proceeding.

Your treatment questions

A handpiece moves across the assessed area to deliver controlled heating. The clinician chooses settings and monitors your skin response and comfort.

No. Non-surgical treatment has limits and should not be presented as equivalent to a surgical lift. Suitability depends on the degree and location of the concern.

Redness or irritation can occur, and excessive heat can injure the skin. Tell the clinician about active skin disease and recent procedures and follow the aftercare given.
