Safety & expectations

Tell the team about photosensitivity, eye conditions and treatments that affect sensitivity to light. Your clinician explains possible reactions and aftercare. Improvements are not guaranteed and depend on the skin concern being treated.

The Zemits LumiBetter approach

The clinic uses the 100-bulb LumiBetter device with selectable light settings. LED delivers light to the skin without an injection or incision. Selected settings may support acne care or skin appearance; evidence and response differ by wavelength and concern. A fixed timetable or guaranteed rejuvenation should not be assumed.

Light settings in the clinic guide

Light settings have different purposes and do not offer equal evidence or effectiveness. Your clinician selects the setting and explains the evidence, limitations and suitability.

LightWavelengthDiscussed for

Checks before light therapy

Tell the team about pregnancy or breastfeeding, epilepsy or seizures, photosensitive medicines, steroid injections, thyroid conditions and recent Botox or fillers. Treatment is not offered to children. After Botox or fillers, allow at least five days and follow your clinician’s advice; a longer interval or avoiding treatment may be appropriate. Protective eyewear is essential. Your clinician explains the evidence and limitations for your chosen setting.
